A long time ago, an 8-year old boy made a special promise to his father; he said that he will give him his dream car for his 57th birthday one day. That car was none other than the stunningly classic, Chevy Bel-Air.
So the years went by and while the father didn’t expect a promise made by a young, innocent 8-year old boy to be kept, he had the surprise of his lifetime when he found out it was.
Just as he had promised, the boy – now a full grown, hard working man – gave his father the thing he wanted most: a 1957 Chevy Bel-Air.
And, lucky for us, the boy’s sister was there to film the special event. The moment that father realizes that his son has kept his promise and that he is now the proud owner of a 1957 Chevy Bel-Air, is absolutely priceless. Lots of tears and hugs mean that this video will hit you right in the heart.
According to the boy, who posted the video on YouTube, his father grew up very poor and his dream was always to own this car. The son had actually purchased the car two years prior to giving it to his father, but he wanted to keep his specific promise and finally gave it to his dad on his 57th birthday.
The video is truly touching and, considering that fact that it is FAther’s Day on Sunday, really makes you want to give your old man a hug – or a Chevy for that matter.
