Audi TT gets a Louis Vuitton makeover – and it’s bad

AUDI tt

It’s not often that you see an ugly Audi TT. I mean, the car in itself is beautifully designed, sleek and so elegant it is almost impossible to to think of it as ‘ugly’.

However, when some certain people (with an obvious penchant for bling) decide to ‘slightly modify’ the statuesque TT, things can go horribly wrong. And unfortunately, at the recent Tuning World Bondensee in Germany, this is exactly what happened.

While there were many modified and tuned up cars that were classy and well done, one tuned up car stood out from the rest. And not in a good way at all.

The Louis Vuitton Audi TT is a hot mess. It’s so shiny that it will definitely make your eyes hurt and the other features, i.e leather padding over the engine, is so kitch that you would almost expect this car to stand in the drive way of on the Real Housewives of New Jersey’s homes.

The car is painted with an exceptionally bright gold colour, and then , to top it all off, features the famous Louis Vuitton print along both sides of the car.

However, that’s not the worst of it (surprisingly enough). Lift up the hood and you will find that the engine has been covered in bright red (yes, really) leather and on the inside of the hood a bright bold and disastrously ugly graffiti paint job stares you in the face.

We like to call this kind of tuning ‘Faux Lux’ – because it’s obviously trying to be classy and luxurious but instead just comes off as ugly. Almost like a knock-off designer handbag, you know.
