In the world of Superheroes and comic books, there is one hero that undoubtedly has the coolest ride of them all – Batman. The Batmobile has become such an integral part of the comic book world and pop culture, that everyone is always excited to see how this car evolves.
The most recent adaption of the Batman story is s crossover movie with Superman. ‘Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice’ is the first full length feature film where we will see the two famed superheroes together in a film.
And, of course, Batman will show off his super cool Batmobile in the hopes of trumping the flying Superman.
Director Zack Snyder has previously given us a snapshot of the new Batmobile – although we couldn’t really see much as it was covered in a cloth. However, some Detroit locals, where the movie is being filmed, got the opportunity to take a shot of the new Batmobile in all its robust glory.
Someone snapped a sneaky shot of the Batmobile on set and uploaded it to Instagram. Although the photo is rather grainy, we can get an idea of what the car looks like.

Following the leak on Instagram, Snyder thought it best to give us fans a proper glimpse at the new Batmobile and posted a photo of the car to his Twitter account (see photo above) – and by the looks of things, this Batmobile is one fierce-looking, crime-fighting machine!
While it looks different to other Batmobiles that we have seen over the years, there is sort of a nod to previous Batmobiles from the Tim Burton and Christopher Nolan days.
Batman vs. Superman will only hit theatres in March 2016, so it’s still a long wait before we’ll be able to see the new Batmobile in action, but at least we’ve got a few appetizers to look at for now.
