Is this the new Mercedes S-Class Maybach?

Maybach

We know that Mercedes-Benz has some big plans with the all new S-Class Maybach. And if this spy video turns out to be the first look at the supposed Maybach, then we are certainly in for a treat when the ultra luxe car finally makes its debut.

The S-Class is expanding in quite a big way. Up until now, there were only two different engine options when it came to the S-Class, but now, Mercedes is introducing an array of new model lines.

The German automaker is adding a new S-Class Coupe to it’s line up as well. This is in addition to the sedan, of course. And soon, the S-Class Coupe will be available in a convertible version too – and we’re sure that will be a big hit with Mercedes fans worldwide.

However, something we are a little more excited about is the launch of two new, super luxury S-Class models that are designed to give big players like Bentley and Rolls Royce a run for their money.

The S-Class Maybach and the S-Class Pullman are Mercedes’ new luxury S-Class offerings, and by the looks of things, will definitely draw the attention it deserves.

The car in this spy video, spotted at Nurburgring in Germany,  is suspected to be the S-Class Maybach. The S-Class Maybach is expected to be based on the S65 AMG and will replace the Maybach 57.

Ot looks set to feature a 621 horsepower, twin turbo V12 engine with, of court, more upscale modifications.

We’ll have to wait and see if this truly is the Maybach until the car debuts sometime next year.
