Lamborghini teases the Huracan Super Trofeo

Huracan Super Trofeo

Lamborghini is still 10 days away from fully unveiling their ‘track-focused’ Huracan Super Trofeo race car, but they know that fans (like us) are frothing to get a glimpse of the modified Huracan that is set to take the track by storm.

So, to satisfy our hunger for the super fast super car, they have released a short teaser, just over 1 minute long, that shows us the Huracan Super Trofeo (LP 610-4) in some of it’s glory. And while it’s not all of it, it will definitely satisfy our craving until August 15th when the car will be officially unveiled at The Quail in Monterey, California.

From what we can see in the video, some of the modified features of the Huracan Super Trofeo include a fatter, wider body than the standard Huaracan, black wheels that are (obviously) wrapped in racing slicks, a diffuser, a carbon fibre front splitter, a huge rear wing (naturally) and a stripy interior and a ‘ready-for-action’ camo paint job on the exterior.

As for the power that this car will put out; the 5.2 liter V10 engine will put out about 610 horsepower – now that’s powerful.

The Huracan Super Trofea isdesigned to take part in the 2015 Super Trofeo Series. And by the looks of things, we have a real contender on our hands.
